I've been a stay-at-home mom for the past eleven years!! Yes, that's a long time! I've seen my babies take their first steps, learn new words, played with them, went on strolls with them, went shopping with them, put them to sleep and yes, not to leave it, have got frustrated and yelled at them. When I look back I feel happy and even more happy that I have recorded some sweet memories.
My spices got mixed up while I was cooking. Its not that I didn't notice. I did and decided to allow that.
Making dough with greens!
Sponge painting
Car and Straw Painting
Did some hands-on Science activities too!
Volcano. We have tried many different versions of this experiment and still do this. Its so interesting to see the experiment understood and performed differently with each passing year.
These are just a few from the many activities we did and had fun with.
Well, I might post few more later. Its funny that many people ask what I did staying at home all these years. I can talk about it for hours, even days. But those who ask might not have the time to listen and appreciate. I might not have earned and invested in material wealth, but I have made tons of memories to cherish. Stay-at-home moms don't sleep all day in their pajamas.

Thanks a lot Anuradha. Yes, It takes courage to make this sacrifice. Many times I do feel upset about leaving my career, but then I bounce back. We can always make a career, but kids grow so fast. Mine are grown into 12 and 8 year old boys and I already miss them being babies. :)
DeleteGood luck to you too. Happy to know you
