Bird feeder - recycled DIY

With their songs, they bring cheer

 Astound with the skills they bear;

Tunes of courtship, choice  of nesting

Backyard visitors cast a spell!

What can I give them, to stay a little longer? Will they like what I've made? 

Cut the lower half of a plastic bottle. Then cut lines about an inch apart to form petals. Bend those outwards.

Paint it colorfully, interior and exterior. Make a hole at the bottom just enough for a stick or rod to be inserted.  For the time being I've glued a pencil.

Fix it in the yard and fill the flower with seeds for the perching friends.
