Well, I grated half a coconut for a dish. You might think what is so special about it. But whatever switched on a LED inside my brain made it special. And now I have a wise owl perching on my tree. Doesn't that look wonderful?
Let me tell you how this owl hatched out of a coconut shell.
First I removed off the coir from the shell to make it somewhat smoother. Then I painted it with dark blue acrylic paint and let it dry. Then on two of the three eye-like impressions on the coconut shell I painted, yellow. Once it was dry I painted the eye balls with black. In the mean time I painted the beard with white, nose with black and white. That's it BINGO! An owl!
Let's zoom our lens to have a closer look. WOW, here it is. Spooky yet beautiful! :)
