Nothing to fear - poem

When I rest my head
Over Your chest
And kiss Your wounded heart
I feel Your immense love

I touch the nail wounds
My hands trembling
I raise my eyes to see
You smiling down at me














And my eyes well up
Seeing Your face
Evermore merciful
And I tighten my grasp


Then I close my eyes
In Your great love
There is nothing to fear
When You are there for me
