Let your art take a shower

Draw any design you want with colour pencils, preferably dark colors. Use a thicker paper like cardstock.

Then cover the whole picture with black paint. I used poster paint here.

Then rinse the picture with water. YES, pour water over a sink and rinse it. The design you had drawn will emerge beautifully from beneath.

Doesn't it look like a picture of the cosmos?


The hot air balloon above was created with the same technique. I used blue color to bring out the sky.
